    • Hi Felicia, a quick response to your recipe request is prepare a basic vegetable soup with a sauté of onions, carrots and celery followed by adding cut pieces of sausage of choice with casing removed. A 28 oz. can of crushed tomatoes is added to the vegetable sauté, then a box of low-sodium chicken broth, a couple of cups of water also.
Spices include salt, crushed black pepper, pinch of red pepper flakes. Optional sugar to balance the flavor when tomatoes are too tart.
I will try to include my direct link to a Vegetable Soup recipe in another response.
